A digital experiment that disrupted the silent power structures of public space.
With local women and girls, we create a collective text of their real-time observations & personal statements, these are live typed and projected outside at twilight to midnight one night. Made with artist Lisa Mattocks, poet Molly Twomey and produced by Quarantine.
This was a collaboration with M13 Girls Group, Levenshulme High School, Irish Community Care Lunch Club and the Royal Exchange Elders Company. It was part of Manchester City of Literature’s Festival of Libraries programme.
